It was always my hope to find some way I could provide value to my profession. Discussing with a friend on one occasion, I found that they found it very hard to share details of a situation that had occurred with a patient. It was only when I had shared a similar story that they felt comfortable to share. And it occurred to me, what about someone who did not have another to talk to?

We work with people daily in a dynamic way; often under pressure. This is due to the stress of working with patients, working with colleagues or trying to maintain our personal and social lives.

There are many of us, including myself who wanted to share work instances but felt shy or even ashamed of being judged for not being the perfect clinician or upholding the perceived standards for a medical professional.

This led me to create a platform that anyone could get something off their chest at any time without the fear of any negative response or opinion. This is where the idea behind the site came from. Complete anonymity in anything you write and anyone who replies or interacts. This is a safe place where you can share something and your name is not attached. You may not be ready now but there may come a day where you will find this as a place that provides an outlet for you.
